Thanks to the Brandon Township Library for hosting us at the Author Fair

It was a sweet little event in a sweet little town -- Ortonville, Michigan, more specifically. It was the Local Author Fair hosted by the Brandon Township Public Library, and Gerry Cliff and I were glad to be a part of it. We spoke to some great people, learned a few things, and left with fewer books than we brought, so I'm always thankful for that. We had both books in the Murders in the Motor City Series: "The ‘Baby Doll’ Serial Killer: The John Eric Armstrong Homicides" (academic and trade edition) and "The Crack City Strangler: The Homicides of Serial Killer Benjamin Atkins." And hey, as an added bonus, I got to wear for the first time a "deep" vintage outfit from a family friend who recently passed, a sort of tribute. It was a pleasant drive over there.
