I have been a longtime supporter of the Covenant House ministry, specifically the Covenant House that's located in Detroit. This ministry fights human trafficking and relentlessly supports young people facing homelessness. They believe no youth should be without a home, and they work to empower young people with safety, education and skills to succeed and live a happy life. In my books I've written about females living at risk on the street, women whose lives took a wrong turn at some point, often with circumstances beyond their control. Covenant House works to save those kids before they become adults working the street. I encourage you to help them help homeless youth!
