Are you going to the Michigan True Crime Symposium?
What better place to hold a true-crime symposium than the city that has historically housed the worst of the worst of Michigan's criminals -- Jackson. Nowadays, Jackson is home to a few different correctional facilities, but originally, the notorious Jackson Prison was well-known as the first prison in Michigan, opening in 1839. Well, on April 11, I'm going to be there -- near the original site in downtown Jackson, anyway -- so how about you? Would you like to come hear some stories of Michigan's true-crime past?
Join us for the third annual Michigan True Crime Symposium at Art 634 in Jackson, Michigan.
Fellow Michigan true-crime authors who will be joining me: Allie Siebert, Michael Delaware, Joe Koenig, Judy Gail Krasnow, Peggy Grigowski, Mikel B. Classen, and my collaborator for "The 'Baby Doll' Serial Killer," Dr. Gerald Cliff.
You'll have a chance to get signed books, meet the authors and ask questions. It is going to be an exciting afternoon of storytelling and dark tales! Attendance is free!
