The floors really creak at the Creaky Floor bookstore -- and we're about to find out!
When I took to Microsoft Copilot to generate some promo images for my April book signings (like the beautiful one that you see above), I also learned some fun facts. According to Copilot, the floors really do creak at the Creaky Floor Bookstore in Galesburg, Michigan! The building is rumored to be more than 100 years old.
Well, my collaborator Dr. Gerald Cliff and I are about to find that out, in a little over a week, as the bookstore hosts us for a signing. We'll be bringing both books in the Murders in the Motor City series, "The ‘Baby Doll’ Serial Killer: The John Eric Armstrong Homicides" and "The Crack City Strangler: The Homicides of Serial Killer Benjamin Atkins." We'd love to meet you there!
