Gerry and I are all set for Frankenmuth on Labor Day weekend -- c'mon over!
I'll be making the drive up to lovely Frankenmuth, Michigan, on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, September 4, and I would love to see you there. The site will be Charlin's Book Nook in the town's River Place Shops, which is a great little mall to do your shopping (it even has stretch pennies -- you know those! I love those and have been collecting them for years).
Gerry (G.H.) Cliff will be there, and he'll bring his brand-new book, on Detroit Police's hunt for multiple serial predators at the same time, "Serial City." (Learn more about his book in my July 13 post.) I haven't actually seen the book yet myself, so I'm looking forward to getting my own copy that day! I've seen the case files, however, and I'm sure it will be a great read.
Soooo .... Friday of Labor Day weekend. Let's have our last splash of official summer. We'll be there between 10 a.m. and about 4 p.m.

(And yes, my buddy Copilot was at the helm of this graphic, 'cuz, to use a veiled "Star Trek" reference, I'm a writer, not a graphic designer. But it's been an interesting experience, the couple times I've used AI to generate graphics, because AI does not reproduce photos well just yet -- in this case, I had to replace two of the book covers with the actual photos in my photo-editing program. And just to make it clear: As a writer, I have never, nor will I ever, use AI to generate my writing. I can do that all by myself -- it's like breathing for me! ;) )
